This is a nice clothing store. I was there for the art show but I looked at some clothing and it's very nice quality garments. Interesting history too. The art is fantastic.

Visiting from England and popped in for a browse as the window was dressed so beautifully! Jody was very welcoming and attentive, and found us some beautifully tailored pieces to take home 👌🏾This shop is a little gem if you want a high quality well cut outfit. A six hour drive and well worth it. Living just outside Washington DC I suspect we could find other good specialty stores on our way to central CT, but none would compare to Morneault's Stackpole Moore Tryon! Jody, Ron and Mary are delightful to work with. They each have a keen and honest sense of what looks good and what does not. As buyers they know their clients well and select merchandise which is unique, fashionable and beautifully made. Thanks for another exceptional men's and women's shopping experience.

If you are in need of business professional attire... GO HERE!!! I wish I could give this store 1000 stars. I came in about 3 weeks ago with an absolute fashion emergency. I came across Morneault's Stackpole Moore Tyron and I truly believe it was a sign from the universe. I was met with a beyond accommodating, accepting, and encouraging staff. I had the honor of being assisted and styled by the owner Jody. She created the PERFECT outfit that not only fit my price range, but most importantly made me feel confident, beautiful, and ready to tackle the event I had to go to. It was all done in under 20 minutes, then I was out the door. The staff and shopping experience is the best I have ever had in my life, and I mean that. I am from NY but will without hesitation be making the trip there again for all my business attire needs. Go check it out ASAP whether you are in the area or not!

Full disclosure: I am Ron and Jody Morneault's daughter. That said, I couldn't be more proud of my parents' hard work, perseverance, and talent for making people feel and look their best. They offer incomparable personal service and have maintained an unbroken chain of retail presence since I was 5 years old, originally with Tuesday's and now with Stackpole's, originally established in 1909. Their care and dedication is reflected in their window trimming, hosting artists and their artwork, social events, and continuing to bring the height of fashion to Trumbull and Pratt Streets in Hartford, Connecticut. This is my go to place for buying clothes. Jody and Ron are always ready to offer exceptional and personalized assistance. The store offers unique and high quality women’s clothing for all occasions. The sale rack is a gem of possibilities, if you are on a limited budget. I always feel welcomed, comfortable and appreciated when shopping or even browsing. And, Jody and Ron are two people with huge, generous hearts, who are committed to helping Hartford, small businesses and people in need.

Did you ever close your eyes and think about an idealized retail experience? Groovy but not silly. Just a joint with smart, stylish, and eternal looks ... I love this place! Ronnie and Jody figured out the balance. They inherently understand the vibe. Go and get fit! Go and talk shit. Go and experience a real true old school shoppe with the hippest sensibilities. I love this place. Please do too.

I had a great experience here adding some business casual pieces to my wardrobe. I purchased 3 blazers and 2 blouses that were unique, my style, and fairly priced. The sales team was knowledgeable and upbeat but not pushy. They pulled some items for me that hit the mark. I really like the platform with the big 3-way mirror in the women’s area. Also, they have coffee available, etc. I also added some workout undergarments to my purchase, which were helpful when I decided to extend my stay in Hartford. Went back twice and will go again! Shopping how I like it!
